Pool Maintenance Operator

Responsible for the daily maintenance of the swimming pool, including maintaining chemical levels, inspection of pool equipment, and inspection of safety equipment. This includes, but is not limited to, daily chlorine testing, daily ph testing, assisting with filter cleaning, backwashing, adding water, draining, chemical controller sensor cleaning, pool filter maintenance and the ordering of necessary pool supplies.  

Additionally, the individual is responsible for assuring sanitary conditions are met in the areas adjacent to the pool such as office and pool deck.   showers and restrooms. 

Lastly, the individual is also responsible for lifeguard duties and “Learn to Swim” supervision during evenings when assigned.

Work is performed under the general supervision of the Director of Facilities and/or Director of Health, Safety and Aquatics.

$18 per hour
Custodial Worker

This work involves responsibility for the performance of routine building cleaning and occasional minor maintenance tasks. Cleaning tasks are performed according to well-defined procedures and maintenance tasks are performed under direct supervision or according to specific instructions. Supervision is received from a custodian or other superior. Supervision of the work of others is not a responsibility of employees of this class. Does related work as required.
